Division of Music Education and Division of Arts Education provide services within the scope of the Fine Arts Education Department in Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Education. A Professor, two Associate Professors, nine Assistant Professors, two Research Assistants, and three lecturers continue their studies within our department.
The Division of Music Education in our department aims to train music teachers for elementary, secondary, and high schools through the 4-year 'Music Teaching Undergraduate Program.' This program includes field education, vocational knowledge, and general culture courses. The division, which started education in 2000-2001, has been continuing its educational activities in its own building built by the Gaziosmanpaşa University Rectorate in Taşlıçiftlik Campus since the 2004-2005 academic year.
The Division of Arts Education in our department aims to train visual arts teachers for primary, secondary, and high schools through the 4-year 'Art Teaching Undergraduate Program.' This program includes field education, vocational knowledge, and general culture courses. The Division of Arts Education, which started education in 2004, continues its educational activities by aiming to train teacher candidates who can comprehend art and art education in accordance with modern approaches and reflect acquired behaviors in all areas of life together with their aesthetic knowledge.
